Faith

A protected, safe space where exploration or deepening of faith is welcomed without judgement.

The Meaning Behind Our Name

Historically, the phrase “feeling blue” came to mean sadness or melancholy. Its origins trace back to 17th–18th century maritime traditions, when ships would fly blue flags to signal mourning after the loss of a captain or officer. Over time, writers began using “blue” to symbolize sorrow or emotional heaviness.

Here, we reclaim that meaning. Drawing on the principle of opposite action from cognitive behavioral therapy, Blue represents something different: the calmness, depth, reflection, healing, and emotional steadiness that is often experienced with the ocean. Blue reflects the space we aim to create—grounded, supportive, and steady even in the midst of life’s waves. A place where you can pause, regain clarity, and begin to move forward.

Whether we are meeting virtually or during one of our immersive Whole Women weekends, my goal is to walk alongside you as you rediscover your strength and reclaim your peace.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from California State University, Sacramento and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from National University. I obtained my clinical hours at Turning Point Community Programs in Sacramento County, where I focused on serving highly acute populations as well as severe mental health disorders.
